Can I use my own devices and manually input vitals after measuring them?
Yes, even though our devices automatically feed vital measurements into the app, you can still measure them with your preferred tools and add the measurements manually.
Can I use my own tablet instead of PCL Connect?
Yes, our tablet apps can be downloaded on any Android tablet device, and soon on iOS iPads as well. We highly encourage getting in touch with our support team to set the tablet app correctly at support@pcl-health.com.
How is the NEWS 2 Score calculated?
NHS England has a specific algorithm for calculating the National Early Warning Score (NEWS 2), and we are following the NHS’s guidelines regarding making the calculations.
Do I have to buy all the monitoring devices separately?
Some of our devices come for free with the annual subscription to our platform. We highly encourage you to get in touch with us on info@pcl-health.com to get more customised help on subscription and device purchases.
Do you also work with nursing homes?
Yes. Our ambition is to work with every organisation involved in delivering care to older adults. Just send us the contact details of the nursing / care home you have in mind, and we will initiate the process of bringing them onboard. Email us at info@pcl-health.com.
Is the App free?
Yes. You can search and download the PCL Health app from App Store and Google Play for free, and use the manual vitals entry functionality. If you want to use automatic vitals syncronisation and connect with our medical devices, you would need to purchase a subscription to our platform, after what you will have access to the App’s full functionality.
Does PCL Health work outside the UK?
Yes, PCL Health can work anywhere in the world. Enabling remote health monitoring wherever you are is part of our mission, hence get in touch with us at info@pcl-health.com to learn more about how you could benefit from our platform – regardless of where you are in the world.
How much do your subscription and devices cost?
